I had to dig around to learn that [“unseen” is a thing you can add to the Top Menu list](https://meta.discourse.org/t/2-8-0-beta5-pm-improvements-unseen-view-allow-uploaded-avatar-by-trust-level-and-more/202357#new-unseen-view-5). Cool!  
Yeah, it does seem to render this plugin obsolete.
