# Site traffic explorer for new admin dashboard

We’ve released a new **admin-only** Site Traffic Explorer as part of the [new admin dashboard](https://meta.discourse.org/t/better-insights-into-your-community-with-the-redesigned-admin-dashboard/404528).
It gives admins a clearer view of site traffic patterns, with filters for dimensions such as URLs, referrers, countries, networks, browsers, and IP addresses.
To open it, click the `See details` link in the site traffic section of the admin dashboard.
By default, the explorer analyzes the 200,000 most recent pageviews within the selected date range and can be configured up to a maximum of 1,000,000 pageviews via the `site_traffic_explorer_event_limit` site setting. A higher limit provides broader traffic coverage but requires more database resources and will increase loading times. Sites with more capable database servers can raise the limit, while sites experiencing slow queries or timeouts should lower it to maintain an acceptable user experience

Very nicely implemented, I really like it. Is there a plan to allow us to display track events, similar to how it works in Umami, for example? That’s a useful metric for us.

Took a look at your example and another one on a different site. The prevalence of **badges** among the **Top URLs** was not what I expected.
Can someone shed some light on why badge-related URLs are so prevalent? I have a theory, but facts are always better than guesses.

Thanks for sharing the example but we currently do not have plans to add events tracking in Discourse.

From our own metrics, those requests look like they come from “bots” since they have a 100% bounce rate.

Can anyone explain how the encircled values are calculated or has an [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true) query for it?
