# 'Site traffic report'?

If I go to `/admin` there’s a bar graph toward the top of the page labeled “Legacy Consolidated Pageviews.”
“Legacy?” I think. Checking the info tip, I see that it’s superseded by the ‘Site traffic’ report.
Okay cool. Let’s go look at that.
Except it’s not in the list of reports.
Checking here I see [a 2024 announcement](https://meta.discourse.org/t/better-pageview-metrics-with-the-new-site-traffic-report/324068) of the report which tells me I should be seeing it [on the admin dashboard](https://meta.discourse.org/t/better-pageview-metrics-with-the-new-site-traffic-report/324068). (I don’t.) There’s also [an “understanding” post](https://meta.discourse.org/t/understanding-pageviews-and-the-site-traffic-report/324062) which tells me I can find it at `discourse.example.com/admin/reports/site_traffic`.
Except that when I go there, what I’m redirected to is “Legacy Consolidated Pageviews.” Again.
So… what gives?

edit: nevermind, i found it on a hosted site too.

There is a hidden site setting `use_legacy_pageviews`. I wonder if that is enabled on your forum.
Lilly could enable that on her forum to check. My hosted forum shows the site traffic report just like hers

can confirm that the hidden setting `SiteSetting.use_legacy_pageviews` is enabled on your site. when i set it to true on my site, the Site Traffic Report disappears:

It’s a hidden site setting, so you won’t find it in the interface.
Hosted customers need to contact the team.

Why is this promoted on the admin page but so hard to get to? 2 years after introduction, with the ‘Consolidated Pageviews’ report denigrated as ‘legacy’, you would think this wouldn’t be so hard.

Hi @ganncamp, you raise a good point, it’s kinda confusing in the state that you are in.
The vast majority of our users and customers have been moved to billing based on the new pageviews, some have not.
Could you please reach out to us if you would want to switch over?
