# Slight tweak to email me for every post

It would be nice if the option “Send me an email for every new post (unless I mute the topic or category)” didn’t include posts you yourself authored. I _think_ I could get this functionality by muting myself, but that isn’t very intuitive.

The conclusion was to support the users that want every single post on their computer in an email.

Yup, I can see that. What I’m asking is if there is a way we can support both? I do want notifications for every post, as long as they aren’t my own.
