# Slow mode appreciation

Just a quick note to praise the slow mode feature, which has been a life-saver in the last couple of days. Things were getting intense on some of our topics because of the current events in Europe, until I remembered to switch on slow-mode. The discussion has improved tremendously since, with longer, more thoughtful posts and less quick attacks and accusations from both sides.

So thank you! 💛 I really appreciate it.

It rate limits how quickly individuals can respond to a topic.
