If the smart list feature \[1\] works in the normal post composer, why not have it in chat as well?
Please merge this if this has been requested before. I tried searching and couldn’t find anything.

1. I’m referring to the one where bullet points are automatically entered after the user presses the ENTER key. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

We are still experimenting on this in core composer and are not ready to take this experiment further at the moment.
