# SMTP在使用Amazon SES时无法工作

So when I enter in my SMTP server for discourse and all the info. I go to register, and the email won’t send I’ve used multiple platforms but I can’t seem to get it working. Could someone please help me? Thank you! 😊 EDIT: Sorry didn’t mean to put with Gmail!

Using gmail as your SMTP server for Discourse is a bad idea:

I didn’t use google for my SMTP, I have my own domain setup with email. Also I used those 2 providers on there, didn’t work.

So what happened was I’m in sandbox mode, so all I needed to do was verify my email, thank you for your support though!
