# Solved topics should automatically close, after a delay?

Hi,

If there can be setting that as soon as a topic is marked solved it should close immediately or after maybe an hour or a specified period which can be set for each category..

I think it would be great if this was added to the system 🙂

Could you briefly explain a use case for this? Do you often see a topic continue past its logical conclusion long after it has been marked as solved?

Yes many times after original poster(first learner issue) is solved and a moderator doesn’t close it we get other learners throwing in their questions.
