# Some unicode emojis are substituted incorrectly

Our users point out a problem in converting Unicode emojis. when we send ☹ emoji with the phone keyboard and send the message, ☹ emoji is inserted in the instead. Also, when we insert the 😌 emoji as Unicode, the 🙂 emoji will be replaced.

I can confirm the first but not the second.

Because you used a `:blush:` emoji 😊  
But problem is:

| Unicode Emoji | Replaced With |
| --- | --- |
| ☹ frowning\_face | ☹ frowning |
| 😌 relaxed | 🙂 slight\_smile |

Once [FIX: do not replace smiling\_face by slight\_smile by jjaffeux · Pull Request #11412 · discourse/discourse · GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/11412) is in tests-passed, they should both be fixed (I fixed the other one weeks ago).
