# SSO API vs new user API,.Which one to use?

I would like users who login to my website to automatically be able to post onto my discuss forum.
So should I be looking into SSO through its Api? (I don’t have WordPress).
Or should I be looking at creating new user api call.
What should I be doing?
Some guidance would be great
