# Staff Picks/ Favorite posts?

Other than pinning posts globally, to be read and unpinned, what are people doing to have a “Hey new member, these are some choice posts” suggestion area?

Back when were on vBulletin we started “On Our Radar” threads where some Staff would post about various things of interest found from the web and forum threads.  
They proved to be very popular.

“On Our Radar” has now become part of the site’s Articles, and as Articles are now imported to the forum as Topics they continue to be a good thing.

Not really targeted specifically to “Hey new member” but similar might work for you too.
