# 从 Digital Ocean 迁移到 OVH 的步骤

I am new to discourse and its hosting. I want to migrate my discourse forum from digital ocean to ovh.  
i need the steps in which this can be done.

Basic steps:

1. Take a backup
2. Install new discourse droplet on OVH.
3. Enable restoration in settings.
4. Upload and restore backup.

It is also useful to check your DNS settings and make sure you have a short TTL for the domain the day before you perform the migration, so that you can have a smooth transition from old to new server.
