我倾向于用这种方式做事，并认为这对你来说可能是最好的选择。

一种处理方法是考虑在你的完整启动过程中存在不同的里程碑，它们可能看起来像这样：

- 网站对密切合作者开放
- 网站对测试人员开放
- 网站对试点小组开放
- 网站对整个现有社区开放
- 网站对新成员开放
- 宣布旧社区中某些活动的停止支持日期
- 旧社区中不再支持某些活动

在每个阶段，你逐步扩大参与者范围，并对网站进行迭代，直到你认为它已准备好进入下一阶段。做下一阶段所需的事情，但不要做超越下一阶段的事情。在进行过程中了解真正需要什么。

最后两个步骤也可以重复进行循环，因为你一次替换一个或几个活动。也许最终你会完全关闭旧社区。或者它可能会无限期地保留下来，以支持较少数量的活动。
