Discourse has supported this for a while:

To do so you would need to be on an enterprise plan or self hosted Discourse.

The hidden site setting `max_category_nesting` controls this, you would raise it to 3 to enable sub sub categories.

We still recommend you keep to default nesting levels, forums can get very hard to navigate when nesting is deep.

The hidden site setting is not available in the UI, you will need to enter the container to change it:

```plaintext
./launcher enter ...
rails c
SiteSetting.max_category_nesting = 3
```
