# Subcategory boxes view - boxes not working properly as links

Small issue I noticed browsing meta:

Subcategories with box view are not proper links, i.e. CMD + click, or right click to open in new tab, do not work. Here for example: [https://meta.discourse.org/c/plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/c/plugin)

(Boxes with topics, however, _do_ seem to work properly e.g. here: [https://meta.discourse.org/c/howto](https://meta.discourse.org/c/howto))

Can confirm. Boxes without topics do not appear to have an href target. cc @awesomerobot @Johani
