# Suggestion: Auto. add lines under/above images

For some reason, on my site, lines/spacing is not automatically added under and above images. Is this intended, if so then I’ll just add CSS for my site. It seems it works fine on Meta.

My guess is that is wrapping an inline image. i.e. no padding, no margins.

What does the HTML look like?

If it works fine here this is not an issue with Discourse, it must be specific to your instance.
