# 从新主题中隐藏类别

看起来这个功能在某个时间点从 Discourse 中被移除了，然后在 2020 年发布了一个官方插件，重新提供了这一功能，描述如下：

我不知道为什么这个功能没有直接内置到 Discourse 主程序中，而且为什么它仍然作为一个插件存在。

所以解决这个功能的方法就是上面的插件。

然而，这个插件似乎没有自己的页面在 #Customization > Plugin 中。这似乎是一个重要的功能，可能值得拥有一个自己的官方插件页面（如果不能直接集成到 Discourse 中）
