# Cambiar un post entre PÚBLICO y PRIVADO

**Steps to replicate:**

> 1. Create a topic in a category =\> Topic exists as expected.
> 2. Choose “Make Personal Message” =\> Message becomes a PM as expected.
> 3. Choose “Make Public” =\> Message becomes public again as expected.
> 4. Choose “Make Personal Message” again =\> Stays Public, when it should have become a PM again.

Can someone else please do this quick test to verify same experience?

Can confirm. I after making a topic private and public I can’t make it private again. The “make private” action appears as a small post, but the topic isn’t actually converted.

Does it help if you hard refresh the browser (control + f5)? In other words is this a UI bug?

I don’t think so. I can still see the (public) topic on try after a hard refresh, in incognito, and in another browser on a computer that never loaded that topic.
