# SMTP에서 OAuth로 전환

안녕하세요,
새로운 회사 정책 때문에 사이트 이메일 설정을 SMTP에서 oAuth로 변경해야 합니다. 하지만 관리자 패널에서 해당 옵션을 찾을 수 없습니다.

제 이해가 맞다면, 몇 년 전 비슷한 질문이 제기된 적이 있었고, 당시 답변은 다음과 같았습니다:

이 응답은 오해의 소지가 있는 것으로 보입니다. SMTP 인증은 기본 인증과 현대 인증(OAuth2)을 모두 포함하는 상위 범주입니다. 구성 설명에 따르면, 여전히 기본 사용자 이름과 비밀번호를 구성하고 있습니다. Microsoft 포럼의 설명은 다음과 같습니다:
“SMTP AUTH는 대부분의 벤더/공급업체에서 권장하며, 대부분의 앱/디바이스에서 지원됩니다. 벤더/앱/디바이스에 따라 SMTP AUTH는 기본 인증 또는 현대 인증으로 수행할 수 있습니다(단, MS가 기본 인증을 중단하고 있으므로 현대 인증으로 구성해야 합니다)… 현대 인증은 Active Directory 인증 라이브러리(ADAL)와 OAuth 2.0에 기반합니다.”

따라서 Microsoft가 SMTP Auth를 중단하지 않는다는 것은 사실이지만, SMTP Auth에 포함된 방법 중 하나(구체적으로 사용자 이름과 비밀번호 사용)는 사용할 수 없게 된다는 점도 사실입니다.
제안된 해결책은 설명된 방식으로는 적용 가능한 것으로 보이지 않습니다. 어떻게 해야 할까요?

[https://auth-email.com으로](https://auth-email.xn--com-ky7m580d) 전환했습니다. 이 서비스는 OAuth 이메일 서비스에 자동으로 연결되므로, 일반 SMTP만 사용하면 됩니다.

MailEnable은 Microsoft나 Google처럼 SMTP에 대한 OAuth를 지원하지 않습니다. 주로 기본 인증(Basic Authentication)을 사용합니다. 정책상 OAuth가 필요하다면 Microsoft 365나 Gmail과 같은 외부 SMTP 서비스로 전환하거나, OAuth를 지원하는 릴레이(Relay)를 사용해야 할 가능성이 높습니다.
