# Switching voting off for individual topics?

I wonder if it is a possibility without closing a topic itself. The reason is to acknowledge that no further voting is required but still allow a discussion to continue.

i just replied to another post about this from around a year ago, then saw your post. the user suggested the option of linking it to a tag, so if the post is tagged ‘voting’ then users can vote and if not the voting doesn’t appear.
