# System message personalization, is {$username} possible?

Regarding the customization of system messages, is it possible to make them more personal?

One of the default messages says,

> Hey there. We see you’ve been busy reading

Is there a way to make it be specific to the individual receiving the message?

Like,

> Hey **Joe** , we see you’ve been busy reading
