# Tag Dropdown Not Showing

Our site does not show the tag dropdown as it shows on Meta:

How do we turn that on?

Searching all over, in our settings, not finding it.

Are tags enabled in your site settings? Do you have any weird CSS in themes that would interfere?

The setting you’re looking for is called `show filter by tag`. It won’t show up if you search for the plural `tags`.

Yes, and my browser was sticky to having typed _tags_ at some point, so I did not notice it auto filled and I was even searching _“tags”_
