# Tags localization issues

Thanks for the report.

It looks like there’s a difference in how those places decide to show the localized term or not. Typically, we require that the model (tag, category, post, etc) have a locale set before we show the localization.

I’ve made a fix / few updates here: [FIX: Use same criteria for showing tag localizations and allow locale setting in /edit - Pull Request #43512 - discourse/discourse - GitHub](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/pull/43512)

Please update your instance, then check that the /edit/localization page for your tag has a locale set.
