This feature has turned out to be very useful to me personally. I was skeptical at first. A lot of times a thumbsup/+1/heart or whatever isn’t quite enough. I want to reply directly but I don’t want to add a superfluous reply. Boosts have turned out to be useful for that and I think boosts are a fun addition.
