# The metrics on dashboard, do they include activities from administrators?

There isn’t a way to filter admin users from the dashboard reports. You could try using the [Data Explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/data-explorer-plugin/32566) plugin to get the information you are looking for. If you are interested in that approach, feel free to ask about writing specific queries.

For self-hosted sites, it is fairly straightforward to add reports to the Dashboard’s All Reports section through a plugin. The [Discourse Solved](https://github.com/discourse/discourse-solved/blob/master/plugin.rb#L215) plugin gives a good example of how to do this.
