# 新的新功能：为什么叫“新”而不是“未读”？

这是不正确的。_新_ 不仅仅意味着“对用户来说是新的”，它还暗示着_最近的_。

其后果是，一个条目在不再“新”时会从“新”列表中消失，而用户无需采取任何操作（这与 Discourse 中的工作方式不同）。  
要使条目从“未读”列表中消失，用户必须执行操作。

_新_ 定义了对象状态，而_未读_ 定义了用户状态。  
如果“新”对每个用户都不同，那么它应该被称为“未读”。

证明我的观点的最佳“证据”是，“新”列表实际上应该被称为“未读”，因为当我将一个主题标记为未读（Shift-U）时，它会重新出现在“新”列表中。
