# The # shortcut behaves wrong in some browsers

Hitting the # key in a thread opens the popup that enables you tou enter the post number to jump to.

In some Browsers (could only see it in Safari 13.1.1 on macOS 10.15.5) the # character is put into the form field that opens in the popup. In Chrome 83 on macOS that doesn’t happen and I can instantly enter the post number.

Is this a known bug or a browser limitation?

I can repro:

macOS 10.15.4 and Safari 13.1

Also happening here on 10.15.5 and Safari 13.1.1.
