# Theme Creator not allowing 'Create New' Theme

My first time using Theme Creator and I’m stuck on Step 4, item 2. After entering a new theme name the “Create” button is clicked but does nothing.

Hello 👋

I moved it to #Contribute > Bug.  
I can repro, console show the following errors. When try to create or import themes.

1. error: Create new component
2. error: Import from Github
3. error: Try to install from Popular tab.

yea it’s been broken for days. I reported to Team after they closed [this bug.](https://meta.discourse.org/t/theme-creator-appears-to-be-borked/277775) and they are working on pushing out a fix.
