# Theme default option missing?

I see there is a theme default option when setting the theme on meta, but on my own instance, for most themes, the option is missing, which causes that even if the theme is switched through the hamburger menu, the color scheme keeps unchanged. How do I fix this issue?

Hello,

The (Color Scheme) `Theme default` option is shows up when your selected Color Palette to the theme.

**Color scheme can be selected by users** checkbox is unchecked on the Colors tab `admin/customize/colors/`
