# 这个ram内存使用量在discourse中很常见吗？

I started to use the discourse with the ec2-t2 micro amazon, my site has commonly given error 502,503,504 have not figured out what can be.

this consumption is normal?

I have more RAM than you, but the forum is otherwise small and this is my memory consumption:

```
root@elio ~ # free -m
             total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 2000 1972 28 266 38 574
-/+ buffers/cache: 1358 641
Swap: 2047 80 1967

```

Looks like the memory requirements of Discourse are growing somehow - I had to enable swap even on 2GB RAM.

Thanks for reply, i have two servers in amazon, I think I’ll have to increase 1gb ram this server

Yup, pretty normal. I have a small forum that consumes 1500 MB of RAM.. and i have a swap memory of 2 GB enabled
