Question: Is anyone currently using this support/ticket plugin:

If so, is it working and updated? Or if there are any other options Iโ€™d love to check them out.

2๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

+1 for me! Iโ€™d like to know also!

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Does this create a ticket in Github as well?

No.

In general Iโ€™d say this plugin is crying out for some significant enterprise/corporate sponsorship to add some much needed features (e.g. ticket dashboard exposed to arbitrary groups, not just sat in admin, etc.).

4๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Hi,
does this still work?
I cant manage to create tickets.

I did some testing with relaxing the rules so anyone can create and edit tickets as long as they can edit topics, and this seemed to work as intended. I have very little experience with Ruby so I donโ€™t feel qualified to implement and test this properly, but here are the changes I tried on my dev site: Allow non-staff to add and edit tickets ยท reswild/discourse-tickets@8c3d0d5 ยท GitHub

Thanks for the report @hellekin. Unfortunately, this plugin is a ways down my priority list and itโ€™s unlikely to receive any love in the near term as I donโ€™t really have the bandwidth. Iโ€™m going to mark it as broken for now.

4๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Most problems with Discourse 3.3, including the DButton one, have been resolved now.

8๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Hi team๏ผŒ

Here come some bugs from the plugin in Discourse 3.4.0

  1. No tickets icon on new topics form appears.
  2. The Tickets dashboard interface confused.

Any way to resolve this?

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Im having issues too, Its not showing any options inside of the ticket creation thing in the topics

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

For Priority, Status and Reason, you should visit /tag_groups and add tags to the tickets_* groups. For example:

group tags
tickets_priority low, medium, high, critical
tickets_status new, in-progress, on-hold, resolved, closed, wont-fix
tickets_reason proj1, proj2, proj3, question, feedback, maintenance
2๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

But I guess this topic should be marked as broken as @angus suggested last year since it shows a deprecation warning and has some outstanding bugs that nobody is going to attend soon.

@merefield suggested looking into Process Manager โ†” - formerly "Discourse Workflow" instead.

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Just confirming that I see the same issues as @JayEnjoy and @blazyrawr in Discourse 3.5.2 with v0.2 (492353a20b1bc2bbcf739f1c88aaa46771e83561) of the Tickets plugin installed. It sounds like this wonโ€™t be addressed. Other than the experimental workflow plugin that has been mentioned, are there any viable replacements?

It looks like this plugin is no longer compatible with the latest version of Discourse. I get this error when I try to enable it:

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

In theory the component-template-resolving banner is still just a warning - it shouldnโ€™t cause any loss of functionality.

Are you seeing any problems with the plugin? Or just seeing the red warning banner?

1๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

I couldnโ€™t find the tickets dashboard under Admin - and couldnโ€™t see any โ€œticketโ€ option when creating a topic - so assumed it wasnโ€™t working.

However, I have just revisited it - and manually navigated to /admin/tickets - but I just get this?

We have modernized the plugin and it is working again on v2026.1 :tada:
The modernization has not been completely completed but weโ€™ve done everything that was necessary to get it back to work.

The ticket dashboard can now be accessed from the sidebar since the previous button location does not exist anymore.

@angus PR here, please review and merge when you have time!

8๊ฐœ์˜ ์ข‹์•„์š”

Thanks Richard, merged!
