# Title keeps reverting to customer

Here on meta, my title keeps reverting to “customer”.

I’ve changed it a few times to “Plugin Author” in the last day or so, however it keeps reverting back to “customer”.

There are no client errors. The change initially takes after save and after a full page refresh. However reverts after some time, which suggests a job or other server-side background process.

Remove yourself as staff / moderator / admin from the hosted community named

`by ********** er`

and you won’t get the customer moniker. Per our records you _are_ a customer going off your email address and our hosted site records!
