# Topic/Category-Specific Cooldowns

Hello,

A handy feature that I would love to see would be **Category Cooldowns**.

For example, let’s say a user breaks the specified format required for a category. Rather than just deleting the post, the user could receive a cooldown for the category they posted to, preventing them from posting topics and/or replies.

This would help out moderation significantly; users can still go about their day, but also receive a proper moderation to help keep forums clean.
