# Topic count not showing for subcategories

Hello! I’m trying to make the homepage of my forum display groups of sub-categories under parent categories with a description and recent posts. I came close to achieving this by setting the setting the ‘desktop category page style’ field to ‘Subcategories with Featured Topics’ but noticed that this added a topic count column (‘Topics’) that was blank for each subcategory (looks like it works for parent categories). See screenshot below:

How do I get subcategories to display the post count? Thanks!
