It appears that when you close a topic, this counts as editing the topic and that’s the notification you get.
1: Do I care that the topic has been closed by an admin? Do I want a notification as there is literally nothing I can do?
2: If a notification is triggered, it should have a padlock icon for closed, and be different to edit, as my content has not been changed.

I think it should notify you.. it’s just courtesy… but also it should have a different icon to edit.

No, that’s not true. Can you screenshot what you are talking about?
Oh I see what you are referring to. Indeed, I edited the topic. Look more closely; specifically look at the edit pencil at the upper right of your post and click it. The notifications are correct. Closing this topic.
