# Topic list loads forever in some circumstances

After going to [https://meta.discourse.org/new](https://meta.discourse.org/new) and hitting the Dismiss New button, the spinner spins indefinitely. When that happens it’s still possible to navigate away, at which point it’s clear that the New topics _were_ successfully dismissed. So it appears to just be an issue with the page being rendered after hitting the button.

This has happened both on desktop and mobile multiple times in the last couple days.

It appears to be the same for Unread too. Maybe linked to [this bug](https://meta.discourse.org/t/clicking-on-logo-from-default-page-view-fails-to-load-page/214029) as well?
