# Topic originator automatic vote

Is is possible to have the originator of a votable topic automatically have their vote for the topic register when the topic is approved by the moderators?

That would mean users won’t be able to create new topics if they have already spent all their votes too.

Ah, good point. We don’t limit user votes, so that hadn’t occurred to me.
I will instead look into putting a bold-text reminder in the message they get when their topic is approved.

There is now a theme component that adds auto voting on own topics as a feature:

Rather than block creating topics, I could imagine the logic being that the topic is still created, but the vote is not auto-cast if there are no votes left.
