But discourse even start the request, nor gives any reason (logs, …) why it doesn´t ☹  
Hard to narrow down my options

No, it wasn´t´. I found the problem (didn´t JSON.stringify the body from llm endpoint, but discourse could be a bit more talkative about the reason for this 502 🙂 )
