# Topic views difference

Hey,  
When i extract the data for particular topic id. Let’s saw i need to find out the views data for 8005.

There are two ways to find out but for the same topic id there are different different data -  
topic table - 30  
topic\_views table- 20

Can you please elaborate for this difference in views ?

Additionally, the admin panel seems to count views differently from the JSON endpoint (`/t/12345.json`):

Can anybody explain the difference? Thanks!
