# Is there a place where I can donate?

I just started using Discourse and I think it’s great. I’m not using it for commercial purposes, only for my own daily record-keeping, and it’s non-profit. However, I would still like to donate to Discourse within my means to express my gratitude.

The best alternative way atm to help is spread the word!

I don’t think a lot has [changed since 2015](https://meta.discourse.org/t/possible-to-donate-money-to-discourse/26208/9) 🙂
Edit: actually, one thing that _has_ changed is that we’ve received this question enough to write up an FAQ 😃
