# Topics from some categories do not appear on /latest

I have reset the default\_categories\_muted setting to blank/defaults, with no change.

The tracking state on the filtered latest for PRIVATE/Architects Forum subcategory (which is the subcategory that does not display by default, but that I want to display by default) is ‘watching’
