# Tracking who has downloaded their user data

A site owner wants to know who has downloaded their data.
It seems that the data in the `user_exports` is deleted after 2 days when the user archive is deleted. I don’t see that there is a separate message type in emails.
Is there any way to know who has requested to download their data?

Why would they need to know this? Probably you’d need to parse the NGINX logs.
