# Translate or not: js.emoji\_picker.\[key\]

Yes, well, you’re right that there can’t be consensus; I wasn’t saying it in a bad way 🙂

As far as I know, emojis cannot be translated as of today. What I’m suggesting would be beneficial to translate are the category descriptions:

- People ➡ People
- Nature ➡ Nature
- Food ➡ Food
- Celebration ➡ Celebrations
- Activity ➡ Activities
- Travel ➡ Travel
- Objects ➡ Objects
- Custom emojis ➡ Custom emojis
