# Translate email notifications and digests into user preferred locale language

There are limits to what we can shoehorn into the email paradigm. I think this goes past that limit.

For locations with limited internet access I think our time is better spent on [Service Workers](https://meta.discourse.org/t/exploring-serviceworkers-for-discourse/32422) and to a smaller extent an [“HTML Mode”](https://meta.discourse.org/t/html-mode-with-email-integration/39685).
