# Trendy Login not appearing in installed plugins

Please forgive a novice user and a non-technical entrepreneur. I have run all the steps in the discourse plugin installation guide when trying to install the Trendy Login plugin. Following installation and ./launcher rebuild app, the plugin does not appear in my installed plugins. This was my first attempt to install a plugin so I assumed it was my lack of knowledge that screwed something up. But I just tried the same process with Post Voting and it worked perfectly. I’ve run circles with chatGPT to no avail. Please assist

That’s because #trendy-login is a #Customization > Theme component , not a #Customization > Plugin.
Therefore, you should follow this guide to install it:
