Trouble logging in with OpenID

I’ve been having trouble with logging in with my OpenID provider.

When I click login, and then choose my provider, the little window opens up with the following URL: (chrome, latest stable)

http://meta.discourse.org/auth/google/callback?_method=post&openid.ns=http%3A%2F%2Fspecs.openid.net%2Fauth%2F2.0&openid.mode=id_res&openid.op_endpoint=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Faccounts%2Fo8%2Fud&openid.response_nonce=2013-10-28T01%3A27%3A55Zba9CCPuKcHTHIg&openid.return_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmeta.discourse.org%2Fauth%2Fgoogle%2Fcallback%3F_method%3Dpost&openid.assoc_handle=1.AMlYA9WBDf6-99Ws269t51ZI2FvV_GV5a2gdWxE2Jf54ATuG6Qi5XFkqz7UuaA&openid.signed=op_endpoint%2Cclaimed_id%2Cidentity%2Creturn_to%2Cresponse_nonce%2Cassoc_handle%2Cns.ext1%2Cext1.mode%2Cext1.type.ext2%2Cext1.value.ext2%2Cext1.type.ext3%2Cext1.value.ext3%2Cext1.type.ext0%2Cext1.value.ext0&openid.sig=4vwlyJuxrHKJXUD5FScA0entwkM%3D&openid.identity=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Faccounts%2Fo8%2Fid%3Fid%3DAItOawkfj8nEzRUFZsEAT7UxR7_RkguyxLDF7_E&openid.claimed_id=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Faccounts%2Fo8%2Fid%3Fid%3DAItOawkfj8nEzRUFZsEAT7UxR7_RkguyxLDF7_E&openid.ns.ext1=http%3A%2F%2Fopenid.net%2Fsrv%2Fax%2F1.0&openid.ext1.mode=fetch_response&openid.ext1.type.ext2=http%3A%2F%2Faxschema.org%2FnamePerson%2Ffirst&openid.ext1.value.ext2=Lucas&openid.ext1.type.ext3=http%3A%2F%2Faxschema.org%2FnamePerson%2Flast&openid.ext1.value.ext3=Stanek&openid.ext1.type.ext0=http%3A%2F%2Faxschema.org%2Fcontact%2Femail&openid.ext1.value.ext0=lukejsails%40gmail.com

I have checked, and:

  • I am properly logged in.
  • I’ve cleared browser cookies.
  • I’ve shut down and re-booted my computer.
  • I’ve tried a different browser. (IE 10. The little login window would say it couldn’t contact the server.)

I suspect I fixed this with:

can you confirm?

Well, I don’t know that this is what fixed it, but it seems to be working perfectly for me today. I don’t know how long some of the things you cleaned up were the way they were, But for me, this problem started yesterday.

Thanks for taking a look.
