# פתרון בעיות באימייל בהתקנה חדשה של Discourse

Just a heads up that as of March/April 2025, DigitalOcean is now blocking SMTP ports on all droplets by default. They can lift the restriction if you file a support ticket, but it appears to be handled on a case-by-case basis:

> SMTP is blocked on Droplets to prevent spam and abuse. Use a third-party email as a service provider instead.

Hopefully this will save others from going crazy wondering why their emails weren’t sending when everything appeared to be configured correctly! 😅
