# Turn off mail verification?

How do I turn off mail verification and add google chapcha to the login?

You can’t then off email verification. It’s a key spam fighting feature and it’s irresponsible to start sending mail to an address that might not want it. If you want to do that anyway x you can use some sso provider that lies to discourse about whether the address has been validated. You could have that use capcha. {which you also don’t need if you validate the email address).

Wordpress and wp-discourse is easiest.
It’s not well documented because it’s a really bad idea.

There are many sites that do not have mail verification.
I do not want to give money to smtp because I know my members😄
