I think it has to be type: group_list

是的，我搜了一些，基本上都是使用的 type: group_list 但是，我的需求是只选择一个，如果使用 type: group_list则又必须增加一个不能选择多个的自定义验证来处理。这虽然能用，但是非常别扭。为什么要把type: group移除呢？类似 type:category一样，只选择一个的场景也是存在的，不能一刀切。除非type: group_list能兼容只选择的一个的情况。

I’m not sure it was removed, it looks more like it was never really implemented maybe? It does seem odd. Think this might be worth opening a Contribute > Feature request for to be honest.

Actually @gerhard you have any more context? I see there is a note about a TODO regarding the documentation migrations/importer/lib/migrations/importer/steps/site_settings_with_dependencies.rb main when Enums::SiteSettingDatatype::GROUP value # TODO…

I’m not sure. As the TODO notes, while working on the importer script, I noticed that the type group seems to be stored as a text, not an ID. I guess it was never implemented as a select. In the beginning of Discourse we mostly had text fields for site settings. This might still be a remnant of it.
