Hello, I have run into an issue after the latest update 3.3.0.beta1-dev. The update ran without a hitch and everything looks OK - as long as you are logged in. For anonymous users the start page looks fine. But there is an issue loading a topics body - you can see the title, the scrollbar is there to scroll through all the posts, but the text is not beeing loaded: [2024-02-01_15-34] The error message I can see in my Browser console is: Chrome: retort.js:48 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'postStream') Firefox Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: this.model is undefined Complete trace: https://gist.github.com/mpolinowski/ebf38b81998d7bdbac6a02c705254e53 Can someone point me in a direction on how to fix this issue?

I’m afraid Retort is currently broken and would need to be removed from your app.yml before rebuilding your site again.

Thank you for your reply! Do you know if this might break something? Or will the Emote Reactions just disappear from posts?

The data should remain in the backend, but all the functionality will be removed. So the emote reactions will not be displayed on the posts, but if it gets fixed and reinstalled they should then come back again: [image]Support multiple-reactions per post (Retort style) Indeed. Retort work is actively underway. I should be testing with @merefield soon!

Thanks again - rebuild worked and looks like the issue is resolved :grinning:

[image] Discourse Retort Plugin With huge thanks pray to the sponsorship of @Hifihedgehog and the community of: https://forum.tabletpc.review/ This has been brought back into compatibility and is no longer broken with 3.2. NB: as per The Team and Sam, it is intended that the Reactions plugin will take on the additional features of this plugin (mainly the ability for multiple reactions) at some point in the future and hopefully (not yet confirmed) this will include provision of a migration tool.

I just got pinged as well :grinning: But I think I will go with the named alternative then: [image] Discourse Reactions Plugin discourse2 Summary Discourse Reactions allows users to React to a post from a choice of emojis, rather than only the Like heart. The available emoji selection can be set from the admin settings. open_book Install Guide This plugin is bundled with Discourse core. There is no need to install the plugin separately. Bored of likes in Discourse? Here’s something you will definitely love. Note: Discourse Reactions will soon be enabled by default for all sites, see Enabling Dis…

I’m going to be looking after this plugin for a short time, so I’ll take a look!

I’ve raised a PR to Retort to fix the issue (and another I discovered). The advice remains the same, its up to you when to switch.

PR has been merged (thanks @angus)
